Text Alignment

As we mentioned earlier, text appears by default in the left of the cell. For aesthetic reasons, you might prefer to align the text in the right of the cell or to center it within the cell. The procedure is relatively simple and can be done either before or after the text has been entered. To align text select the cells that contain text and then click one of the toolbar button.
: The selected text will be centered within the cells

: The selected text will be aligned right within the cells.

: The selected text will be left within the cells

Let’s center all of the column titles:
· Select cells A3 to A5 by using the mouse and the SHIFT key,

· Now click button to center the text. All of the text in the selected cells will be automatically centered or choose Alignment tab of format Cell dialog box.
