Object
placement is easy if there’s no order to it. Just
place your object where you want it and you’re done.
Aligning objects with absolutely even spacing along
the vertical or horizontal plane is another matter
entirely. Just "eyeballing" it is adequate at
best. Instead, use the Alignment tool to do the
job for you. All you have to do is approximately
place your objects in the way that you want them to
be arranged, select them all, and click on the appropriate
alignment option. There are 8 different options.
  
You
can align to the left, right, top, bottom, or center
of your document and distribute widths and heights.
