Fireworks
isn’t an HTML editor but it can export your image information
as an HTML file. Much of the web-related content that
you see in your Document Window is meant to act
as a guide and, for that reason, is nothing more than
a representation of what will eventually be created
when you export your graphic. Fireworks uses
the information that you have created with the Web
Tools as a reference when it goes through the process
of converting your document into HTML. You can edit
the HTML that Fireworks has generated with a dedicated
HTML editing program such as Dreamweaver. As
we progress through the rest of the manual you will
see how these two programs function in tandem and
complement each other quite nicely.
