Fireworks

Panels

Panels contain controls for the most commonly used functions in Fireworks. As you learn Fireworks, you’ll find that you can manipulate the content you create in many ways. Panels make the properties for modifying content you develop quickly available, so that you can make changes rapidly. By default, there are four Panel sets, each containing a collection of multiple Panels.

To select a different Panel in the Panel set, {Click} the Panel Tab to activate it. For example, by default the Object Panel is displayed in the first Panel set; if you {Click} the Optimize Tab, the Optimize Panel is displayed.

(Figure 2.15)

{Clicking} the Optimize Tab enables the Optimize Panel in this Panel set.

The function of each Panel is explained as you progress through the book and use each of Fireworks tools to create content.
