Editing the Layout Template

When you create a new presentation, you get a slide with a layout template ready for a title to be added PowerPoint, like other software programs, contains default values. Your presentations will reflect the default settings, unless you decide to change them.
You can make changes to the layout template (Layout) of a slide to suit your needs. To do this, display the slide you want to change by using the scroll bar or by using the arrows to move to the next or the previous slide.
After selecting the desired slide, select Format, then Slide Layout to access the various layout templates. PowerPoint has 21 layout templates. These templates allow you to create slides to display title pages, lists of objects, drawings, etc.
