The
more obvious occurrence of this message is when
you attempt to remove the program itself. This precautionary
message prevents you from deleting files you might
not want to remove.

File
names with the extension EXE are programs. Trying
to delete such a file yields this error message.

How
do I correct the error?

Do
not delete the file:
|
| |
|
Click
"No" in the error window.
|
| |
|
Do
not use the program any more:
|
| |
|
1. Click
"Yes" in the error window to delete the file anyway.
|
|
2. Do
not plan to run that program anymore!
|

Remove
the program properly:
|
| |
|
1. Click
"Start" / "Setting" / "Control Panel."
|
|
2. Click
"Add/Remove Programs."
|
|
3. Click
the program name you wish to delete.
|
|
4. Click
"Add/Remove."
|
|
5. Follow
the instructions in the window.
