A
scroll bar is a sliding button used to move the
content of a window vertically or horizontally.
The vertical scroll bar looks like an elevator shaft

When
do I use the scroll bar?
|
|
|
|
Scroll
bars appear automatically in many programs when
the content fills more space than the dimensions
of the window allow. Use scroll bars to view the
portion located outside the borders of the window.
