Files
can be set as hidden so they are not visible. Some
system files are marked as hidden, for example

|
|
Find
files that are not visible: (Windows 98)
|
|
|
|
1. Click
the "View" menu, and then "Folder Options" (Windows
98) or "Options" (Windows 95).
|
|
2. Click
the "View" tab.
|
|
3. Click
the button by "Show all files" under Hidden Files
|
|
4. Click
"OK."
|
|
|
|
Change
file attributes so it is not hidden:
|
|
|
|
1. Right-click
a file.
|
|
2. Click
"Properties" on the menu that appears
|
|
3. On
the General tab, click the box by "Hidden" so that
there is NO checkmark.
|
|
4. Click
"OK."
