When you click on a WORD menu (for example, Format), a drop-down menu appears. The following figure illustrates this menu:

Drop-down menus offer various options. For example, in the Format menu you have access to the options Font, Paragraph, etc. Ellipsis points (...) following an option indicate that a dialogue box will be displayed when you access this option (for example, Font...). The next figure shows that when you choose the Font option, the following dialogue box appears:

Other options are followed by this symbol . which indicates that another menu is available when you click on this option.
